SOUTHSIDE VIRGINIA PARANORMAL
I thought I would take a moment to introduce myself. My journey began around the age of 8 or 9. I grew up in a haunted house in a small town in Virginia. This is where I saw my first apparition, it was a lady dressed in a Victorian dress with a large hat. It was late at night and I was still up watching TV while everyone else had gone to bed. I heard a tapping on the window behind the TV. I ignored it a couple times and finally decided to check it out. I stepped outside on to the porch and then turned down the side of the house, when I did she was standing there next to the window. It felt like we stared at each other for a while, but I'm sure it was only a matter of seconds. I remember running back into the house and straight up to bed. I never saw her again, but after that I could hear footsteps and voices at night. This continued until I left home at 18. Due to this haunting, I researched as much as I could, but since my childhood and teenage years predated the internet, there wasn't much to be found at the local library. I remember being so excited when Ghost Hunters first aired. Finally someone else that had experienced what I had. Years later several synchronicities in my life led me to The Scarefest, which led me to an amazing person that introduced me to the TAPS Academy. This is were I was trained as a paranormal investigator at St. Albans Sanatorium. I started Southside Virginia Paranormal about a year after that. I have since become a Reiki Master Teacher and began to develop my psychic abilities. I want to help people to understand that they are not alone. I'm not out to prove that the paranormal exits. You either believe or you don't. I just want to set people's minds at ease who come to me in search of answers, whether it's debunking the bump in the night or showing substantial proof that you aren't the only one experiencing something. I want you to know you are not alone.
